Given that the hotel lacks outdoor areas, our goal was to evoke the atmosphere of a garden within the communal lounge space.

The oak flooring, which extends throughout all levels except the ground floor, does not evoke an outdoor feeling. To compensate, we introduced stone paving not on the floor, but on the wall - a subtle inversion intended to suggest an exterior surface within an interior setting.

Water, as an essential element of any outdoor environment, is also present: integrated into the stone wall is a fountain-style spout and basin. This feature serves both a poetic and practical function - offering guests fresh drinking water before they leave the hotel, while also supporting our commitment to reducing single-use plastic.

None of this would have been possible without the skilled hands that shaped this space with care, expertise, and dedication. Our heartfelt thanks go to the craftsmen, builders, and collaborators who, through every detail and every day of work, built not just a space - but the story it now carries.

Your work lives on in every wall, every surface, and every moment spent in this house.
